On how Brigette came to be a part of convoy…
Basically, it started with me just being upset; one little girl in a little red truck. Then because I was in Facebook jail for 33 days, I learned how to start using TikTok. I started going to truck drivers on there and I found this great guy named Chris and he was upset too. I just kept asking him “Convoy 2022”? And I’d go to all the other truckers and I just kept doing that in the hopes that somebody would listen so that I could treat the government the same way the government [has] treated truck drivers…held us hostage, left us sitting on bridges and highways with no bathroom, no food, no water. They didn’t care about us. t’s definitely not about everybody’s safety, just certain people’s safety.
On the convoy planned for next week…
Now, this is not [a] demonstration, this slow roll. It’s not just open to truckers. Any member of the public can come out and support. It’s about everybody. It’s about Canada and here’s the thing I’d like to thank Doug Ford for, yeah, we’re finally all in this together because…This stuff needs to end now. [This convoy] is gonna slow down everything for sure…we are following our rules given to us by OPP and we are doing this peacefully as number one. We’re not there to cause trouble. We’re there to get a voice and a message out. And that’s what we are doing. And we will do that safely as truck drivers always do. We save lives every day on the road to those that don’t know how to drive around us.

The Freedom Convoy has inspired truckers from across Canada, the United States, and now the world. The Freedom Convoy to Canberra is one example and has already started in Australia. Their GoFundMe campaign has already raised $63,569. To support their fight in taking back their freedoms, please click here to donate!
Some of the most influential, intelligent, and rational world industrious leaders like Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, and others, have repeatedly expressed their support for Canadian truckers and the working people who are fed up with our global leaders infringing on our rights and freedoms.
However, we cannot achieve our goals if there are threats or acts of violence. This movement is a peaceful protest and we do not condone any acts of violence, etc.
We live in a world where the pervasiveness of the internet and instant global communication gives more power to words and ideas than any physical weapon – making it a powerful tool that can be used against tyranny and authoritarianism. This is why they censor us and why we must remain peaceful no matter the cost.
We already know there will be activists working at the behest of global authoritarians and think tanks to sabotage our movement. Because of this, we must have a zero-tolerance approach to aggressive behaviour and violence. Please remain calm and loving to one another.
We cannot stress enough how important it is for everyone to do the following:
1. DO NOT enter any government building or government property under any circumstances.
2. Treat all police officers with respect. Front line police officers are already under significant pressure from powerful politicized individuals and local politicians. They are our fellow Canadians, and the police in regions like Peel defended us when they refused to enforce Doug Ford’s draconian Covid restrictions on citizens last year. Please do not put front line officers in a difficult position. Always be respectful, even if they issue you a citation. Just know that most of them are doing so under duress.
3. Keep calm. If you see individuals attempting to bait other truckers and attendees into conflict, report them to the police and our staff, or look to others around you to help with de-escalation. Sometimes it merely requires one calm head in a group to temper us all. Don’t hesitate to be the negotiator!
4. Do not make any type of threat. Threats lead to escalation, which could lead to violence. Please do your absolute best to stifle any aggressive rhetoric. As you know, the legacy media will be present and will use this as ammunition against our movement. Their business model is built on a strategy of destroying reputations. Do not help them profit from destroying your reputation.
If we keep calm and show love and support for one another, many things will happen. We will eventually cause the government to reverse its policy on Covid passports and vaccine mandates as the UK has recently done. We will meet new friends, develop relationships, and there will likely be people who meet during this peaceful protest and fall in love and build a life together. Let’s not sacrifice such a bright future for all of us by loosing our temper.
This is the first step in a long journey to a new golden age of freedom and understanding for one another. Let’s build that future together.

We have some great news to share with all of you! We have received confirmation that GoFundMe has released our first batch of funds and is initiating our first transfer. We can’t thank you enough for your patience.
Sadly, the legacy media felt it was necessary to publish news articles implying that GoFundMe had frozen our funds for a variety of outrageous reasons. In reality, the temporary hold was due to international banking regulations which dictate many of GoFundMe policies. It is common practice with GoFundMe to conduct this kind of due diligence to ensure the funds are legitimate.
For our case, because of the overwhelming donations we have received, and we are currently the 8th fastest growing campaign in their history, the constant attempts by activists to flag our campaign as illegitimate exacerbated the already tedious process. The team at GoFundMe have been amazing to work with and we are very appreciative of their support.
The release of this first batch of funds will allow us to start processing registration forms and remittances to drivers who need our support. Initially, there will be a bottle neck because of the large number of requests we need to process, and because of payment processing times. Please bare with us as we are working as fast as we can to get this done.
As a reminder, these funds will first assist drivers of all Semi trucks and direct support vehicles such as, pilot trucks and/or mechanic trucks in the convoys to Ottawa. Registrations must have been received and signed off by the Road Captains. These forms must also be completed exactly as per the instructions on the registration form, otherwise they will not be processed. Please note that all submissions are not guaranteed, as this is dependant on how many registrations are received and how much is donated through the GoFundMe campaign.
We have an amazing team behind the scenes comprised of lawyers, accountants and bookkeepers working hard to ensure people will be compensated. As a reminder, this will take a bit of time, and we ask for your patience while the team reviews and validates the overwhelming number of submissions by participants.
Again, thank you to everyone for their kindness, patience, and support while we get this sorted. Each and everyone of you is playing a part in unifying Canadians across the country and showing the world that there is not just hope for Canada, but for the entire world.
